Move/Learn/Reconnect

An Unconventional Fitness Experience

What is Movement Ayahuasca?

Movement Ayahuasca is an immersive journey that offers a holistic understanding of your most authentic self physically, mentally and emotionally. This understanding of yourself helps move through plateaus that are usually represented in feeling stuck in life, having a hard time knowing who you are, suffering from panic attacks or high anxiety, not being able to take action or make a firm decision in your personal or professional life, suffering from depression or unwilling to find excitement in the real world. It is a way to express trauma, stress and anger that has been stored in your body.

Richard uses a very specific flow of exercises and breath that allow these traumas to come up to the surface to be expressed. With movement ayahuasca, one is able to go deep into those memories and experiences that continue to cause stress, anxiety and depression in the body.

Movement Ayahuasca is a culmination of my life. I have always enjoyed life, but  having a near death experience gave me an understanding of the importance of  being present and enjoying life to the fullest. Because of this experience, 14 years ago I decided to work closely with people as a coach. Coaching allowed me to get to know people all around the world and notice patterns in muscle imbalances and body discomfort/pain that led to the same behavioural traits such as confidence, insecurities, father/mother issues, lack of being present, lack of drive or excitement, to name a few. This is where my interest in emotional mapping began. The development of emotional mapping showed me that discomfort points in the body are directly linked to emotional trauma and need to be dealt with in an active way.

There is so much more to training and movement than looking good naked or lifting heavy, those are byproducts. Movement can heal us. We can deal with our anxiety, stress, depression and trauma. If we work on our physical, mental, and emotional self, we allow our light to shine.
